VVUQ
The majority of computational simulations require systematic verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification (VVUQ) to achieve the desired level of credibility. To address these needs, we have developed a multipurpose Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis toolbox — mUQSA — integrated into the QCG-Portal. This toolbox provides a user-friendly platform for conducting credibility analyses across a diverse range of models.
Currently, the platform focuses on two key aspects of VVUQ:
- Uncertainty Quantification (UQ): The process of quantifying and analyzing uncertainty in a model's output to understand its reliability and variability.
- Sensitivity Analysis (SA): A method used to pinpoint which uncertain input parameters have the most significant influence on output uncertainty.
By addressing these critical components, mUQSA supports robust and reliable model analysis for diverse applications. For more information on the mUQSA platform visit: mUQSA webpage.
