HPC with GUI

Sometimes the support for running simulations in a batch mode is not sufficient. Many scientific applications, in addition to the execution of computational tasks, at some stage require graphichal interfaces: for input data preparation, monitoring of execution or output data visualisation. Sometimes, in order to graphically edit or visualise large-scale 3D model, personal desktop computer is not sufficient and powerfull resources are required.

QCG-Portal delivers mechanisms which streamline access to remotely running graphical applications. With the platform you can get interfaces of individual applications (e.g. R-Studio) or to the entire remote desktop (via the VNC protocol). The best solution can be selected on individual application specificity.
