FAQ
If the application is widely used and preferably free and open-source, adding support for it to the portal should be straightforward. First, please contact your resource's support team or a local QCG-Portal administrator to check whether a template for this application can be easily enabled on your machine. If not, please let us know about your requirements, and we will try to help with adding the support for your application as soon as possible.
There is still room for proprietary applications in the portal. The portal can be configured to match various restrictions related to the usage of a given application, in accordance with the specific resource's policies. For example, the application can be configured so that it is available only to a specific user or group of users. Please contact us for further details.
There is no single universal way to configure complex applications in QCG-Portal. Each complex scenario requires an individual analysis to determine the best execution method. Please contact us to discuss your specific workflow and needs.
Yes, you can. The portal consists of several dockerized components that can be deployed in Kubernetes or OpenShift/OKD environments. We can also offer support during the software deployment process. Please contact us for more information.
